What are RAIN RFID tags or inlays?

And how they are used.

RAIN RFID tags or inlays are small, passive components that store and send a unique ID when energized by a RAIN (UHF) reader. They can be attached to items (inlays) or embedded inside (tags) them, a trend that is growing fast in markets such as tires, automotive, and reusable assets.

These tags don’t need batteries. They don’t need line-of-sight. And thousands can be identified at the same time — accurately and at high speed.

Hana RFID designs and manufactures these inlays, including ARC Quality Certified products recognized by major U.S. retailers. We are one of only six* suppliers globally with this level of certification. Our portfolio also includes advanced embeddable tags for items that require durability, long life, and stable performance.

In short: tags hold the data. Inlays make RAIN possible. And we make them reliable, scalable, and ready for real-world use.
